Strawberry Jam

Ingredients:

  • 1kg granulated sugar
  • 1kg strawberries
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 jar

Preparation:

  1. Squeeze the lemon. Wash and drain the strawberries.
  2. In a saucepan, combine the strawberries, lemon juice, and sugar. Heat while stirring occasionally to dissolve the sugar.
  3. Once the mixture starts boiling, reduce the heat and simmer for 1.5 hours, stirring occasionally.
  4. When done, stir for 1–2 minutes, then pour into jars while still hot.
