Ingredients:
- 1kg granulated sugar
- 1kg strawberries
- 1 lemon
- 1 jar
Preparation:
- Squeeze the lemon. Wash and drain the strawberries.
- In a saucepan, combine the strawberries, lemon juice, and sugar. Heat while stirring occasionally to dissolve the sugar.
- Once the mixture starts boiling, reduce the heat and simmer for 1.5 hours, stirring occasionally.
- When done, stir for 1–2 minutes, then pour into jars while still hot.
