Almond Macarons (4 servings)

Ingredients:

  • 250g chopped almonds
  • 250g granulated sugar
  • 2 egg whites

Preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (Th.6).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped almonds and granulated sugar.
  3. Mix well, then add the egg whites and knead the mixture thoroughly.
  4. Take a small amount of the dough (about the size of a walnut), roll it into a ball, and place it on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  5. Once all the macarons are placed on the tray, cut a candied cherry in half and place one piece on top of each macaron.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes.
