Ingredients:
- 500g flour
- 300g almond paste
- 150g granulated sugar
- 150g butter
- 2 tbsp orange blossom water
- Salt
Preparation:
- Mix the flour and melted butter, then add salt. Gradually add water and knead until the dough reaches a good consistency.
- Roll out the dough with a buttered rolling pin. Once the dough is thin enough (about 2 or 3 mm), cut it into squares of 10 centimeters on each side.
- Place some almond paste in the center of each square. Roll them up to form a crescent shape. Bake in the oven at 180-200°C (thermostat 5 or 6), checking regularly.
- After baking, drizzle with orange blossom water and coat with sugar.
